Virgil Hawley
16 November 1923 - 30 May 2010
This webpage is dedicated to my grandfather, Virgil Lee Hawley. This website started out as an idea for a location for me to share with my family some recordings I made of Virgil. It has since been expanded to include some photos and stories written by Virgil himself.
My name is David Hawley and Virgil was my grandfather. In some sense this website was created in my image of who Virgil was and is not intended to be an exhaustive account. Though he was much more during his life to me he will always be Grandpa. If you have comments or clarification about the content please email me ([email protected]). Navigate between pages by clicking on the labels in the upper right corner of the page. Enjoy!
